Proposed stormwater management
regulations will impact the design, construction
costs and operations of nearly all development
projects in the District. These rules will influence
private development as well as the construction
of public facilities such as roadways and schools.
Topics will include the proposed rules and implementation
timeline; how the City’s transportation department
will address the new requirements; and the potential
for private parties to partner on a large scale
with the District to implement stormwater retrofit
projects.
